Hi, looking for some advice
We bought an apartment in Almada in 2010. Everything went smoothly, we had all the right documents and we have being living there 3 or 4 months per year. Suddenly yesterday we received a copy of a document sent to a neighbour where the owners of the house in front of our block have submitted to the court (Tribunal Administrativo) a request to have the certificate confirming that our building was properly constructed revoked. A number of complaints are made; but mainly the accusation is that the height and width of the building exceeds what is allowed. The main party accused is the Planning Dept of the Town Hall, but a number of our neighbours have received the court citation. Surprisingly we have not received anything. The application to revoke the certificate was made in 2007, but the court appears only now to have reacted.
Any ideas what we risk in all of this ?
