I am going to relocate to Portugal and in my search for a new job I encounter the same type of requirements once and over again which is offering a fultime job but with 7 days availability from 9am to 9pm
I find this kind of exploitatief, even if is legal, I give an example of what I say with the following vacancy I fulfill all the requirements but the avalability of 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm is a deterrent really. I plan to have a life too.
Any opinions or experience about this?
VACANCY REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in the role, you will need to have:
Native or proficient level of Spanish (C2)
Intermediate level of English (at least B2)
Ability to adapt to a challenging software system.
Analytical and problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
Desire to learn and advance, be a curious investigator and problem solver
Must hold EU citizenship or a valid work permit for Portugal
Availability to work from our site in Sete Rios, Lisbon
Availability to work from 9am to 9pm UTC+1 Mon to Sun
