Hello everyone,
my boyfriend and I are planing to move to Sao Miguel in March or April 2017.
Currently we live in Gozo, Malta, which is very laid back and relaxed, but we feel like we need a change. We have travelled a lot together as diving instructors but are looking to settle somewhere.
As mentioned we are both diving instructors, my boyfriend is a very handy man and now working as a carpenter. I am as well a Photographer (incl. Graphic&Webdesign and Video) and a massage therapist. Does anyone know how easy/difficult it is to find a job on Sao Miguel?
Is it possible to work as diving instructor as a foreigner or do the Dive Centres mainly employ locals?
Would it be still a good idea to open a bed and breakfast or is the island already saturated?
We do have a dog and will have to flight him in, he has a passport and all vaccination.
Is there a "quarantine" or anything to go through when bringing a pet to Azores?

I'm here 2 years and opening pub's restaurants and brought an investor for a boutique hotel...and yes a b and b or guesthouse is great idea and you will get funding uptown 65% from EU it's the only country in the EU recieving this for tourism...
