    Family Visit Visa - Visa for my mother

    Dear All,

    Just to share with you that I applied for my mother's visit visa on June 12, got it attested by CoC same day but did not get any response until June 21. It was just the form appearing there. On June 21, there was a message asking me to visit Mofa with original iqama with a copy of the same. I went there on June 23 (Sat), the gentleman at the counter checked the iqama and told me to check the status (visa issuance) after one week.I checked the following day, the status shown was application received on June 23 but after 3-4 days it was mentioned that ministry apologise to reject the application.Now i assume either it is due to Ramadan they are not issuing the visas or possibly they have refused as my mothers age as per her passport is 76 though she has come here almost every year in the past on the sponsorship of my brother. Can anybody share the information/idea regarding age / ramadan rush
