    alhamdolillah after 46 days i got visa for my inlaws. i would like to share my experience with you guys which might be helpful for someone. i did COC on 25/11 from alkhobar, received msg to submit original and show iqama on 29/12 visa issued on 8/1. after i submit my original, i believe my original docts was lost and didnt reach the right place, hence the status didnt chage until 6/1. then i went to the manager of MOFA with my PRO (they allow only saudi to meet with the manager) my PRO went to meet him and i was sitting in the hall.
    1. if you have applied in eastern province, the key is to wait. no benefit in running to MOFA again and again.
    2. if you do not have response for more than 45 days then you can attempt to meet the manager, but bring your pro/kafeel with you ( they will not allow if application is less than 45 days). alhamdolillah i applied for 90 days and got 90 days.
    3. the guy who is responsible for letting meet the manager told me that they are aware that huge application are pending, and they are expediting the process and in 1 week time everybody will have response. best of luck.
    4. its useless to visit MOFA to follow up, because they do not give proper response at counter. instead try calling their tel number 8683310x2x2. normally they do not answer but if you get hold of someone he response very courteiously and helpful.
