Well done with the translation so far Jane! This post wasn't actually meant for this purpose, but I am glad you are getting some practise in translating.
I am not going to translate the entire thing because I don't have the time right now, but what I can tell you is that 'bja' is short for 'baie' which means 'very' or 'a lot'. With the word 'nig' I think it could be short for 'niggie' which is a female cousin. Does that make sense?
I am just wondering why this person would send you such a long message in broken, sms Afrikaans if you can't understand Afrikaans? It must be very frustrating for you?
