Conditions of Tie

Hi

I have done my huellas for the TIE (as resident - able to work and live) and they said I should expect it to be ready in 2 months.

I wondered if there are any conditions on leaving Spain for extended periods with a TIE?

I ask because I went back to the UK with a view to return by the end of the year, but wondered if there is a requirement to reside in Spain for a minimum period every year, otherwise the TIE can become invalid etc.
