Spain Taxes - how to file Form 210 from outside of Spain?

Posted in Spain forum

Hello! And thank you very much already if anyone can help me with this question. I’m a new property owner and (fingers crossed) soon-to-be expat in Spain, and I’ve run into a question I just can’t figure out how to resolve. Has anyone else encountered a similar situation and figured out a good answer? I bought an apartment last year (in Salobreña, province of Granada), and this is my first year paying taxes on it. I owe the IRNR tax (via Modelo 210). I am trying to file “on my own” (since to this point it has seemed not too difficult): I have already completed and validated (1) the predeclaration for Modelo 210 (via the Hacienda website); and (2) made the correct payment to the Hacienda via my Spanish bank (and I have in hand the justificante with NRC). I cannot make the final, formal presentation to the Hacienda online (because I have now neither a Clave PIN nor a certificado digital), and I cannot present it personally (e.g., at the bank) since I am outside of Spain. I have imagined that I can mail (1) the validated 210 and (2) the bank justificante with NRC to the Hacienda / AEAT … But I cannot figure out if this is a valid way of making the formal presentation or the address to which to send it. Have any of you encountered and resolved this problem? If you might set me on the right path, I’d be very, very grateful – thank you! Muchisimas gracias, de verdad!
