Engineers visa matter

Hi Good morning,
On March 6,2017 my employer will issued me a visa archive clerk position but unfortunately the POAE will not issue the OEC due to my position of my contract is Senior project Site Engineer while my visa for s archive clerck will not coincide my visa.
And my company in abudhabi will file another visa which is engineers visa.my question is how long does it take to get the engineers visa and how to follow up my visa in abudhabi.
