I just received my P (probationary) driving license here in Malaysia. Unfortunately, this license cannot be converted to an international permit before the 2 years probation period is up. This is proving extremely troublesome. I was just wondering if the same rule applies to this license as a normal Malaysian license - whether or not I can drive for a year without getting a British license?
