I am the owner of Momentum Carpet & Floor Care, LLC. and what I have learned is that people are not interested in the typical salesmanship.
They have all heard the same thing when people try to upsell.
My team and I have taken a different approach. We are ourselves and open up to our customers. We tell them who we are, where we came from and why we love our job.
For instance, I became a U.S. citizen in 2008. I am living the American Dream. When I tell people about how I appreciate this country and everything it has given me that is when people are interested in possible up-selling.
