Boots and Ballet ~ Western Gala

BALLERINA FIONA LEE ~ FROM MONTANA TO COPENHAGEN AND BACK
Ballerina Fiona Lee of the world renowned Royal Danish Ballet (RDB) is back in Montana this June setting Tumbleweed Two-Step for Yellowstone Ballet Co.’s (YBC) Boots and Ballet Gala ~ Classic Meets the West!, Saturday, June 24th 7:30 p.m. at Willson Auditorium, Bozeman and Sunday, June 25th 4:30 p.m. at Owl’s Rest Event Barn, Yellowstone Valley Lodge Hwy 89 S Paradise Valley.
Ms. Lee began her ballet studies at the Yellowstone Ballet Academy in Livingston at age five and trained at the school for nine years. She then received a full scholarship for the School of American Ballet’s (SAB) summer program in New York and was invited to continue at the school year round. She packed her bags, left her carefree Montana childhood behind and moved to the Big Apple to learn the rigorous Balanchine-style ballet technique. After finishing her training a SAB she danced with the Kansas City Ballet Second Company. During the Covid lockdown she auditioned for the Royal Danish Ballet and the Hong Kong Ballet by video. She was accepted to both companies but chose RDB.
