Cmscva: Our Pictures

The Chamber Music Society of Central Virgina kicks off its 19th season with the premiere of "Our Pictures," a musical portrait of Richmond. This major chamber music work for ten players is written by composers with ties to Richmond, and is inspired by the people, places and art found in our historic city. Join us and experience the music of Chloe MacKenzie Biggs, Benjamin Broening, Krystal Folkestad, Antonio Garcia, Zachary Wadsworth, and Donovan Williams. This culmination of a three-year project will take you on a memorable journey through the nature, art, people and places of Richmond - from the James River rapids to urban green spaces, to the inspiring words of Maggie Walker and Roscoe Burnems.
