Free Sillys at Jilly's with Comedian Pete George

The first Thursday of the month is quickly becoming a thing at Akron's premiere live entertainment venue, Jilly's Music Room, as Krackpots Comedy Club of Massillon brings National touring headliners to the North Hill District.

Jilly's Music room in conjunction with Krackpots Comedy Club in Massillon is bringing laughter back to the Historic North Hill area of Akron each month on a Thursdays.

Happy Hour starts at 5pm with 20% off all food and drinks.

The Comedy starts at 7pm and this month we feature a few of NE Ohio's funniest and fastest rising comedic talent.

and Nationally touring headliner Pete George, By 1985 Pete George had already established himself as one of Cleveland's top lead guitarists, when he was called up to join the original alternative rock group, "Separate Checks". Releasing two original songs and a music video during the height of the MTV era, the band used its fame to start the petition drive that succeeded in bringing the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame and Museum to Cleveland.
Around the same time, Pete's quick wit and onstage banter, prompted for calls for him to try his hand at stand-up comedy. In all three of his first comedy competitions, Pete's unique combination of musicianship and humor won him the top spot over the more experienced comedians.
