Funhouse Comedy Club - Afternoon Comedy in Southwell, Notts November 2020

Funhouse Comedy Club is back for another socially distanced afternoon of laughter, at the Admiral Rodney, Southwell on Sunday November 1st.

Topping the bill is the hilarious Troy Hawke, Milo McCabe's latest creation, a man stuck in the wrong era! A genuine tribute to the glorious thirties, this naive ‘chap’ has only recently been exposed to today's uncivilised apocalypse.

Opening the show will be the deadpan Peter Brush, who was a finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award 2013 and has written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’; as well as supporting Arthur Smith and Stephen K Amos on tour. Sometimes referred to as a geek, his mind seems to find the oddities in ‘normality’! His imaginative use of words and strange lines of thought, results in unique and sharp material.

Also appearing is the distinctive and engaging Pope Lonergan, with his interesting concepts on various topics.

Compere for the afternoon is the cheery and energetic Spiky Mike.
