LOTS OF LAUGHTER IN BUGBROOKE

Funhouse Comedy returns to Bugbrooke St Michael's FC on Saturday September 14th, for a fun filled night of laughter.

Topping the bill is bestselling author and comedian Sam Avery aka ‘The Learner Parent, who is currently touring his show about his twin boys. He wanted to be a rock star and nearly made it as a member of DBH (Dirty Blue Hook); touring with Motorhead and Ice T. After a number of other jobs, he finally turned to stand-up and is renowned for his observational skills, quick wit and enthusiasm.

Opening the night will be Luton’s lapsed choirboy Junior Simpson. With his boundless enthusiasm and infectious energy he has travelled all over the world sharing his anecdotes, which he delivers in a daring and mischievous way. A familiar face for his numerous TV appearances both as an actor and comedian, he also made a guest appearance in the film, Love Actually.

Completing the line-up is the confident and wickedly funny Julian Deane, with his skilful joke writing, casual roguishness, deadpan delivery and wonderfully twisted sense of humour he leaves the crowd wanting for more.

Compere for the night will be Barry Dodds, winner of Best MC, Midlands Comedy Awards for the last 4 years, who captivates everyone with his energy, spirit and tantalizing humour.
