Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Derby October 2021

Following the launch night in July, Funhouse Comedy Club brings another great night of laughter to Derby Rugby Club on Friday October 29th.

Topping the bill is Christian Reilly who at the age of 15 joined a band to get laid. The Salvation Army had different ideas! He became an integral part of the Perrier award-winning show Otis Lee Crenshaw and the Black Liars, with comic/songster Rich Hall and travelled the world 3 times. Now as a solo performer he both captivates and amuses his audiences with his comic songs and witty punch-lines.

Opening the night will be Rob Rouse, ever exuberant and recognizable from his many TV appearances including ‘Upstart Crow’, ‘8 Out Of Ten Cats’, John Bishop’s Only Joking’, ‘Celebrity Juice’, ‘Dave’s One Night Stand’ and ‘The Friday Night Project’, as well as making a guest appearance on ‘Coronation Street’. With his cheeky banter and extremely funny tales, he’s always one step ahead of his audience’s expectations and keeps them enthralled with his comedic storytelling.

Also appearing will be comedian and script writer Sean Percival. His brand of comedy steers clear of the surreal and confronts realism in an explosively funny way. His down to earth act is bang up to date with its upfront attitude, no long stories, just gags galore.

Compere for the night is the calm and carefree, writer and stand-up Tony Cowards. His smart and hilariously stupid jokes, always leaves people rolling in the aisles!
