Funhouse Comedy Club - New Comedy Night in Northampton October 2023

Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at Black Diamond, Northampton on Saturday October 14th.

Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website Chortle. Previous acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as "among the best anywhere in the world."

Topping the bill is the animated Sean Heydon, one of the country's premier comedy magicians, who has appeared on various TV shows, including Britain's Got Talent where he got a unanimous 4 yesses from the judges and Channel 4's Paul O'Grady Show, as the resident illusionist. With his unique style, he captivates the crowds, often receiving standing ovations.

Opening the night will be song writer, animator and comedian Howard Read who has appeared on The Royal Variety Show. Best known for appearances with his animated associate; Little Howard. Delivering his material with appeal and modesty he keeps the audiences under his charm and if you're lucky he may bring along his ukulele to play.

Also appearing is Nelson Gombakomba a wonderfully charming African comic, who shares his stories of living in ultra-white Norfolk!

Compere for the night will be the dynamic Jessie Nixon, with her friendly stage presence and sharp wit.
