Funhouse Comedy Club - Pre-Christmas Comedy Night in Blisworth, Northants December 2020

LOTS OF LAUGHTER IN NORTHAMPTON

Funhouse Comedy is back at the Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth on Thursday December 17th for a socially-distanced pre-Christmas night full of laughter.

Topping the bill is the intrinsically funny Lloyd Griffith who has supported Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett on tour. He has also and made numerous TV appearances including as regular host on Sky Sports' Soccer AM and on Comedy Central Live at The Comedy Store. As a choirboy in Grimsby, he sang on ‘The National Lottery, with Dudley Moore who played the piano. Then later in life sang backing vocals on a Bee Gees album. A professional singer but always a natural jester he turned to stand-up and with his down-to-earth cynicism and lively attitude, he enthrals the crowd.

Opening the night will be winner of ITV’s ‘Show Me The Funny’ the instantly loveable and unique Patrick Monahan, with his trademark hyperactive and freewheeling charm. Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV's Comedy Annual. More recently he appeared on ITV’s Splash. Of Irish-Iranian decent, but brought up on Teeside he shares tales of his memories. He exudes warmth and charisma; his friendly style mixed with his hilarious story telling leaves his audiences wanting for more.

Completing the line-up will be appealing ‘Brummie’ Craig Deeley, who has supported Sarah Millican on tour, he shares his imaginative and amusing perspective on life, mixed with modest self-deprecation.

Compere for the night will be Pete Teckman who has been crowned Silver Stand Up of the Year 2017 at Leicester Comedy festival, an award for comedians over 40 years of age, with his mix of self-effacing and empirical humour.
