Funny Women Awards Regional Final at Chaplins Bar, Dublin

Come and see new comedy acts compete for a coveted place in the Grand Final hosted by Funny Women Awards Finalist Aine Gallagher and help raise funds and awareness for charity partner UN Women.

This is the 15th year of the Funny Women Awards. They’ve been around the UK and Ireland to find the newest and best female comedy talent and now present the best of the bunch competing for a place in the grand final. The Funny Women Awards have left a massive impression on the UK comedy scene. Previous winners and finalists include Bridget Christie, Zoe Lyons, Sara Pascoe, Susan Calman, London Hughes, Desiree Burch, Katherine Ryan and last year’s winner, Harriet Braine, who is already making a name for herself.

Hosted by award-winning comedian Aine Gallagher. A regular performer on the Irish and UK comedy circuit with her unique and deadpan self-stylings, she has been hailed as “queen of the off-beat” and provides a divinely awkward and hilarious comedy experience.
