Juneteenth Celebration

Historic St. Luke A.M.E. Church, 1308 Auburn Street, Opelika, AL, will celebrate Juneteenth on Saturday, June 18th, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. CST. The celebration will include food, music, local vendors and more. The celebration will take place on the grounds of St. Luke A.M.E. Church and will move indoors in the event of rain. The event is FREE and open to the public. Local vendors will have clothing, food, jewelry, t-shirts and more. St. Luke is an integral part of the history of the community and state and as such has recently been added to the state register of historic sites.
