Thrilling tales from a modern day explorer; Ben Saunders is coming to Oxford!

The North Wall Arts Centre is set to welcome Ben Saunders on Wednesday 8th May as he takes to the stage to share tales from his incredible Polar explorations.

Since 2001, Ben has covered a staggering 6,000km on foot in the polar regions. The youngest person to ski solo to the North Pole and the first person to retrace Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s expedition to the South Pole on foot!

Ben’s presentation will form part of the Kendal Mountain Festival Tour and will sit alongside a collection of incredible adventure films from across the globe - stories of talent, endurance and excitement that will take your breath away! Ride icy waves in sub zero winter, chase tornados, run in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and mountain bike into the wildest reaches of your imagination.

The evening will be presented by Kendal Mountain Festival director Steve Scott.
