Cabot Rea stars in Cole Porter's classic musical comedy, a play-within-a-play about a 1940s theater tour performing Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" and reflecting its battle of the sexes.

In Kiss Me, Kate, egotistical producer, director and leading man Fred Graham (played by Cabot Rea) is reunited with his ex-wife Lilli Vanessi to play opposite one another in a new musical adaptation of Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew. A stormy battle of the sexes ensues on and off-stage as it becomes clear that they are still in love. Cole Porter's diverse score and clever lyrics rank among the greatest in theatre history. Add to the mix another young romance, gambling, mistaken identity, amusing mobsters, compelling choreography, and comedic routines and you have a dazzling Broadway classic that earned the very first Tony Award!
