Managing Emotions In Relationships

Relationships are between individuals. And what ultimately determines the breaking point is the emotions of both partners.Relationships bring out all of our hidden fears and insecurities. They remind us of the scars of our childhood or past relationships. We have such hopes about our romantic relationships because, unlike other relationships, we project our future happiness on the relationship.When one side realises that the relationship takes more from them than it gives, they'll declare emotional bankruptcy and end the relationship.Sometimes it's hurt feelings and disappointment that wrecks a relationship. Other times it's anger or jealousy or...During this meetup we will discuss emotions, what's underpinning them and how it affects our relationships.As in all meetings we come with different experiences, values and ideas. It is in our open and honest discussion that we can refine our own ideas. The goal isn't to change anyone's mind, but to challenge their thinking so that they come to more clarity and awareness.
