New York City Guitar Quartet Concert

St. George's Episcopal Church will offer a free concert on Sunday, September 24 at 3 pm. The concert features The New York City Guitar Quartet and is sponsored by St. George's Episcopal Church and RappArts.

NYCGQ is a dynamic new guitar quartet focused on bringing exciting new works along with unique interpretations and arrangements of repertoire from the ages to the classical guitar world. Featuring Jordan Dodson, Phil Goldenberg, Tom Clippinger and Dan Lippel -their accolades ranging from numerous prizes in international competition to a GRAMMY nomination-this ensemble embodies the future of the classical guitar. The quartet has commissioned new music from composers such as Sebastian Zel and Jose Sanchez-Verdu and continues to arrange vibrant music that expands the guitar's repertoire.

The concert is free with donations accepted at the door.

Located at 905 Princess Anne Street in historic downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia, St. George's Episcopal Church offers a wide range of concerts throughout the year featuring local and out of town musicians.
