Reaching for Greatness: How to Empower Your Kids

Futures Academy will celebrate its new name and many new, innovative educational programs, and parents will learn ways they can help get their child on a path to happiness at both home and school.

Futures Academy will celebrate its name change from Halstrom Academy and its many new, innovative educational programs with a special free Grand Re-opening event for San Francisco Bay Area parents and students.

Award-winning speaker and author Devin C. Hughes will bring his trademark wit, warmth and humor to help parents explore such questions as: How do we raise optimistic, resilient, grateful children? How do we navigate the rough waters of the adolescent years with gratitude?

In this interactive session, Devin will share strategies that parents can use to help raise their child’s personal optimism quotient, respond to challenges more effectively and improve their mindset. Parents will learn tangible and practical ways they can help get their child on a path to happiness at both home and school.
