The sacred art of sand mandala is profoundly healing and spectacular to witness. Can you imagine placing thousands of grains of colored sands on a table by hand, to make an intricate painting? Now imagine doing it seamlessly in cooperation with three other people.
A meditative practical miracle!

This visit represents a perfect return to the origin story of Mandarava. Elie Vyn opened her downtown shop twelve years ago to heal people with delicious natural food. Her heart's wish is crowned by this event -- she chose the mandala of Buddha Manjushri in particular to benefit the community. He is the deity of cognition, purified mind, and purified speech.
