Samford Show Society hosts championship dog show

Samford and District Show Society will host a championship dog show on Saturday 9 July when more than 450 dogs strut their best poses at Samford Showgrounds.

The local community is invited to celebrate the special event from 9am with a visit from guest judges from Queensland and New South Wales.

Dogs Queensland General Manager, Rob Harrison, said the dog show was amongst the most important events in a local pedigree dog owner’s calendar.

“This is a wonderful event, not only for our members but also the general public who visit the dog pavilions, chat to the owners and breeders, and watch the judging,” Rob said.

“It presents an occasion for dog owners and dog lovers alike to come together to admire breeds that bring so much joy and entertainment.

“Family and friends from the local community are invited to come down this weekend to show their support and be entertained by Queensland’s best dogs.”
