Celebrate the art and craft of filmmaking through a collaborative screening of outstanding works from San Francisco Art and Film and Exploratorium Cinema Arts! These young and established artists made works comprise an evocative collection of visual storytelling, enticing the viewer through composition, rhythm, curiosity, and emotion. Selected student films from 1998 to the present are paired with beloved works curated from Cinema Arts 40 year history of sharing films with intergenerational audiences.

Since 1998, SF Art and Film's Film Workshop has provided students aged 13-18 a space to study great works of cinema and develop their skills as media artists. Each year, new students are introduced to the fundamentals of professional filmmaking while returning students refine and deepen their skills. The workshop facilitators act as producers, helping students build a portfolio of work and develop a foundation of skills that will serve them throughout their careers.
