Security and the Hr Role

HR's role in business security is one of the topics on the table at the Oil and Gas UK event which features speakers from Robert Gordon University, Police Scotland, Burness Paull and Mercer.

How security can work with HR; possible terrorist threats and the implication for the oil and gas industry; insider threats, data protection and cyber security are among other issues to be discussed.

Dr Alix Thom, Employment and Skills Issues Manager, said: "The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development has highlighted cyber security as a key issue for the HR role.
