Forest school based Summer Nature Camp for teens 13-17 years old, Galway Co., West Ireland.

45 mins south of Galway City, 2.5 hours from Dublin.

A residential camp, Teens will camp in segregated and chaperoned bell tents, camping out all 3 nights. TEENature is a camp-fire cooked, fully catered and Unplugged (no technology) camp.

Discounts for siblings/cousins/buddies when booked together (please email and we will arrange discount).

BandB for traveling students available @ €25/night before and after camp in cabins supervised by us.

The material covered in these weekends will incorporate more in depth basic bush craft and survival skills.

And plenty of fun activities like:

Introduction to problem solving and team work by goal oriented games/missions.
Animal observation and tracking.
Tree identification and developing appreciation for their role in ecology.
Wood bush crafting skills using knives, saws and loppers.
Fire making using a range of implements even in wet conditions. How to make a personal fire survival kit.
More complex shelter building for longer term cover or basic survival.
Mixed Martial Arts self defense class for boys and girls by Shaolin MMA.
Fixed rope high tree climbing with Certified Outdoor Instructor.
Sand arena games - beach volleyball, badminton, football.
Introduction to wild food and plant identification and foraging.
Camp fire cooking and storytelling.
Stargazing and identification.
Exploration in and familiarization with woodlands.
Alternate night and dawn walks in woods.
Around the camp fire drumming.
