Virginia Glee Club 81st Annual Christmas Concert at University Baptist Church

Ring in the Holiday season with a cherished Charlottesville tradition as the Virginia Glee Club returns to the stage for our 81st Annual Christmas Concert, Saturday, December 11, 2021 at University Baptist Church. Our concert will surely offer musical treats for every ear including classic carols, medieval pieces and of course, our very own special rendition of Twelve Days of Christmas. The Virginia Glee Club, conducted by Grammy-winning conductor Frank Albinder, is a critically acclaimed tenor-bass chorus based at the University of Virginia. It performs both traditional and contemporary vocal works. Founded in 1871, the Glee Club is the University's oldest musical organization celebrating its 151st season and one of the oldest collegiate vocal ensembles in the United States.
