"pets 4 Life" 1 and 5k Walk/Run

Humane Society of Northern Virginia and Beagle, Rescue, Education and Welfare (both registered non-profit charities) have teamed up for our first "Pets 4 Life" 1 and 5K Walk/Run to benefit pets in need. The race winds through Prince William Forest Park on rolling hills and flat terrain on both dirt trails and hard top. Awards will be presented to the top 3 finishers in both the 1 and 5K. The intent is for walkers and runners to enjoy strolling through the woods with their pets, setting a personal best with the run, or simply taking time to decompress from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while helping to raise funds to provide for the needs of pets in our charge in order to increase adoptions/placement into the best possible homes.
