    We are an Irish couple who have been living and working in northern California for many years and are now exploring the Azores as a part-time possibly full time base. Coming to check out the islands mid August-end of Sept. Any suggestions on where to stay in Sao Miguel? Is Ponta Delgado the main hub for expats? Any input appreciated. I am working in Asia in the Fall otherwise we would come outside of high season.
