My wife and I are retired US citizens considering a move to the Kaiserslautern area. We've spent a good bit of time in Hutschenhausen, near the U.S. Ramstein Air Force Base (where I have benefits as retired Air Force), Germany. So Germany is now the country where we are looking to establish a Residence. I have done a tremendous amount of research via internet, and plan to make an exploritory trip over after Christmas. I'll rent a car, hopefully stay on base. I just wondered if you had any insight on obtaining a Residence permit or could refer me to someone who could in the local area.
