About me:
I was born in Hong Kong in 1981 as my dad was serving with the British Army. We moved to England in 1989 and I have lived in Colchester ever since. I have a BA (hons) degree in English and American Literature as well as a PGCE. I was an editor for a craft magazine for four years before I responded to the call to become a teacher. I currently teach in a good secondary school in Brightlingsea. I am now very keen to return to the place that I grew up in, especially as my mum has enjoyed teaching there (seasonally) for the past few years. In my spare time, I enjoy getting involved in community projects, such as 'The W.I.G.s' which I founded in 2009 (http://www.colchesterwigs.com/History.aspx). I have just started going to a meditation class which is something that I hope to continue in Hong Kong. I hope to teach in Hong Kong part time while perhaps starting up a small business.
