- I am an American now located in China. America at one time was a great place to live. Most of my life I have been in the construction industry. I specialized in the restoration of historic buildings. The first time I came to China was in 2012. I only stayed for two months but that was enough to make me fall in love with this country. I vowed to return. One year later, almost to the day, I returned to China. Now I am blessed with the opportunity of teaching Spoken English to so many wonderful Chinese students. I think China is a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. The people are the friendliest people I have ever met. The country has so many beautiful places to see and the history and culture is very interesting. Anyone who has any doubt about visiting China should set those doubts aside and come see for yourself. I guarantee that if you visit China, you too will fall in love with it.
