moving to Sicily

Publicado en Foro de Sicilia

My wife and I want to move to a small town in Sicily. We would like to rent a small apartment in a small village. /so far all we have been able to find is vacation rentals. We want to retire there and we are from the USA. What do we have to do to accomplish this. Dual citizenship or visa. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron

Try searching with google.it instead of .com so you get more relevent results (they may need to be translated) I think you can get a visa to retire there, as long as you can show proof that you can afford to live there. You will have to contact the embassy to get all the details. You will be happy to find there are tiny towns everywhere with a very low cost of living, and full of narrow streets, markets, and often castles! Enjoy
