Sanctus Real originated in 1996 when Matt Hammitt and guitarist Chris Rohman crossed paths as tenth-grade students at Toledo Christian School in Ohio. Together, they spearheaded the worship services for their school and church, igniting their passion for music composition.

Since 2002, Sanctus Real has embarked on an extensive touring schedule, averaging over 100 shows annually. Their exceptional talent and dedication earned them numerous accolades, including seven DOVE AWARD nominations, a win in 2005, and two GRAMMY AWARD nominations. Their songs can be heard on 106.9, the Light FM. With an impressive track record of eight top singles and sixteen songs ranking in the top 10 on radio, Sanctus Real has showcased its artistry across 14 albums.

SEC Network football analyst and former NFL tight end and author of "The New Fight for Life: Roe, Race, and a Pro-Life Commitment to Justice." Mr. Watson serves as the VIP of Strategic Relationships for the Human Coalition, one of the largest pro-life and pro-woman organizations in America. Along with his wife, Kristen, he is the founder of The Watson 7 Foundation, a nonprofit focused on strengthening families. They live in Georgia with their seven children.
