TV COMEDIAN HAL CRUTTENEDEN COMES TO CHILWELL, NOTTINGHAM

Funhouse Comedy returns to Bartons, Chilwell, Nottingham on Friday September 18th for a great night of laughter.

Headlining is slightly camp, middle-class funnyman Hal Cruttenden. Having a background in professional acting he has made numerous TV appearances, including ‘Live at The Apollo’, ‘Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow’, ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘The Rob Brydon Show’, ‘Let’s Dance for Comic Relief’, ’Would I Lie To You’, ’Sunday Night at the Palladium’, ‘Mock The Week’, ’The Great British Bake Off - Extra Slice’, ‘Celebrity Squares’, and Pointless Celebrities. With his ability to mix the personal, the surreal, the ridiculous and the political he delivers an energetic and absorbing performance.

Supporting will be the effortlessly engaging Andrew Bird, who was the support act on Michael McIntyre's recent arena tour and has also supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour, as well as performing internationally. Watching The Young Ones with his brothers as an eight year old, at two in the morning on Comic Relief, he realized then that he wanted to be funny in some way. With his individual appeal and superbly crafted, funny anecdotes, he captivates his audiences.

Completing the line-up is the very likeable, down to earth and madcap Lindsey Santoro, recounting tales of her misadventures in life, in her unique side-splitting style. She never fails to leave the crowd in tears of laughter.

Compere for the night will be the energetic and chatty Spiky Mike.
