O.L. Smith PTSA and Westborn Car Wash to Offer Clean Screams this Halloween
Lock your car doors and roll up to the Westborn Car Wash for some sudsy, spooky fun! The O.L. Smith PTSA has teamed up with Westborn Car Wash to present The Haunted Car Wash Tunnel of Terror. Participants will receive an entertaining, immersive experience that begins as soon as they pull into the parking lot and will have them on the edge of their seat until their sparkling clean car emerges from the Tunnel of Terror, all from the safety of their own vehicle. Freaky phantoms, evil clowns, and devilish demons will take over for one night only, ensuring that patrons get the scare of their life with haunted scenes and displays as they proceed through the car wash, ending with a terrifying towel dry and treat bags. The event will have scares and gruesome displays- parental discretion is advised.
Westborn Car Wash Owner Ali Turfe loves Halloween and is using the event to give back to Dearborn, the community he loves. He is donating 100 percent of the proceeds to the O.L. Smith Middle School PTSA to support students and important school programs.
"I am happy to partner with O.L. Smith's PTSA to bring this fun event for kids and families to enjoy from the safety of their own cars. The last year and a half have been difficult for this community- I am happy that Westborn Car Wash can bring a spark of joy and fun, and allow families to make some lasting memories, while supporting this neighborhood school," Turfe said.
Dairy Queen Grill and Chill, 4600 Greenfield Road in Dearborn has pitched in to help keep the fun going by offering a free small ice cream cone to any children 14 or under who come through the drive-thru on the evening of October 23 between 8 pm and Midnight with the special ticket received in the Haunted Car Wash treat bag (while supplies last). Manager Joe Haidous is happy to support O.L. Smith Middle School and Dearborn families.
