Learn about conservation psychology and how you can do your part to change our environmental future at this talk by researcher, therapist and Capilano University instructor, Janet Waters, PhD.

Climate solutions depend on us. We got ourselves into this mess and it’s up to us to get us out. Through hope—rather than despair—and determination—rather than helplessness—we can make the changes needed for a sustainable future. Ecopsychology is a science that can help us understand why we messed up our home so badly, and how we can change our values, attitudes, behaviour and lifestyles for environmental sustainability, human and animal well-being.

Part of the Capilano Universe lecture series, this talk is presented by Capilano University in partnership with North Vancouver District Public Library, North Vancouver City Library, West Vancouver Memorial Library, Burnaby Public Library and Gibsons & District Public Library. Presentation is FREE. Registration is not required, but seating is limited.
