timeline for fiancee visa?

hi. we have our documents submitted for fiance visa in Belgium embassy in Manila first week of oct. and interviewed again first week of dec. we're wondering what is the average processing time for this visa type..we are hoping to get married before our marriage declaration expires feb 10..does anyone here wants to share their experiences re fiance visa? thanks and happy new year!

    hi,,, it is best to go to the embassy and gave them all the documents they asked from you,,, you just need to go there and hand them over the documents,,, no need to wait for their call,,, hehehhehe,,, i did the same with my lacking documents and they accepted them,,, just dont forget your reference number,,, good luck

    hello,nag aaply din aq ng fiancee visa actualy nakapag pa appointment na aq at dapat nung nov.28 ang interview ko.Nainterview na din aq sa counter about sa mga nalalaman ko sa bf ko.nakapag pill up na din aq ng form at nasagutan ko na din ung questions about samin ulit ng bf ko.ung 11 pages..Kaya ng nung hingian aq sa ung lady sa counter ng ''3 months most recent payslips or latest tax report of sponson and registered contract of ownership of the house in BE..ay wala aq naibigy skanya.Wala nmn kasi aqng ganung papers ang meron lng aq ung nakalagy sa site nila sa www.diploamtie.be.ndi ko alam na kilangn pa pala un..Kaya binigyan nya aq ng papel na may check ung dalawang documents na kukunin

    kaya nmn ndi natuloy interview ko nung novemver 28.kailangan ko daw muna makuha ung dalawang kulang ko pa..dpat daw ASAP.sa ngaun ay meron na aq pinadala ng bf ko galing belgium.Ang tanong ko lng po eh dapat po ba aq pumunta ulit sa embassy para isubmit ung kulng kong documents or mag aanty aq ng call or email nila.Kasi bago nmn aq umalis nun hiningi ng lady sa counter ung phone number at email address ko sabi waite ko nlng daw ung email or call nila.kaya lng hanggang ngaun wala parin call or email galing sa kanina.worry lng po aq kasi baka nakalimutan na nila.evryday lagi aq kinukumusta ng bf ko tinatanong kong tinawagan na daw ba q..ACTUALY xa din ung nag sabi na pumunta nlng daw aq sa embassy para isubmit ung kulng ko..Kaya lng naiisip ko din ung sinav ng lady sa counter.antayin daw tawag nina or call..KAya ngaun aq tuloy naguguluhan.Sino po pwedeng tumulong sakin kung ano ang tamang gawin...help namn po plz..THANKS PO AND GOD BLESS.

    if i go over dhl do u have idea wat is the exact address of teh belgian embassy so my fiacnee can send the other lacking documents we have ohh pls help us.. thanks alot

    As I understand your message well; the result of the Embassy interview goes to Brussels, DVZ, and same the result of the intview of the partner in Belgium.DVZ decide if the declaration of marriage is granted. if so, the marriage can go on.If not you have to file an objection,and you'll need a lawyer for that.The period of research for the declariation of mariage depends if a research for fake marriage is started, if so it can take 6 months.....

    i have the same problem with that my fiancee must have to get teh declaration acte that is the only one lacking document to complete our file there and forward to brussels...

    till now we dont know how to do it wat requirements we need to get to give him a declaration of marriage...

    i amd espearate now wat to do help us here

    we are on the same wave of that documents me and my fiancee is still processing for marriage declaration act to get it, it is not easy we take alot of requirements back to square one.... he go to philippine embassy in brussels to get the certificatu de coutume then go to cityhouse for declaration act to get but it is not yet done we are on the process but it takes alot of time to process this, we already lodge our papers at oct 31, 2012 they got me intterview and taht is the only lacking document i have the interviewer have said to me that it must be an attest to get teh declaration act.. i dont know what she means on that because i never seen a declaratoion act i dont know taht there two types on that.....i am desperate too if i can make it only one document is missing and we have already payed very very very lots of money in this processing of papers but yet declaration acte is still one lacking document we need to comply ebfore they send it brussesls

    we are on the same wave of documents that needed to comply me also my lacking document is declaration of marriage but i thought before it is soo easy to get my fiancee just present my mandate from the cityhouse but then it is not that easy. it is a back to square one process... we have only 3 months to go to comply our lacking document and we are running it now i hope god speed us..... i hope also some concerned fellow filipina help me here also wat to do i am down at this moment

    they told me it takes 3 months to get teh declaration of marriage i not know that there is lot of papers that need to comply before to get the declaration of marriage in belguim i am here in the philippines and my fiancee is in belguim i was interview in oct 31 and the interviewer said it must be ASAP because it only taes by 3months to comply all. i have red ribbon my birth certificate, my barangay clearance, my cenomar and legalized it also here... then i not know that aside from declaration of marriage my fiancee there in belguim must get also certificatu de coutume wat is taht he cannt get a declaration of mariage without it also and he must go to philipine embassy but it have alot of requriements again... i dont know wat to do, the belgian emabssy the iunterviewr is soo sarcastic there in manila. my questions is, wat is the i must sign about wat i must sign? and pls i dont know wat to do. we have no idea if we can done this at the time the embassy told usonly 3 months.plssssssssssssssssssss help me here

    declaration of marriage means that a couple makes an application to marry; if you marry in Eritra, you are the applicant , with the documents and signature of your partner, if you marry in Belgium, he does the application with your letter of conscent and copy pasport and proof of unmarried status.
