Frankfurt community - Introduce yourself!

I though it would be a good idea to create this thread so everybody in the Frankfurt community can introduce themselves. As our community grows, this would also be a nice way for new members to get to know each other.

Tell us a little bit about yourself - why are you in Frankfurt, and what are you doing here? If you have any ideas on how we can make our community a lively place, also post them in here.

    Hello everyone,

    I'm Khaled from Egypt, I'll be visiting Frankfurt from July 1st to Sept. 1st for work. I will be working at Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies. I'll be staying at Praunheim.

    I hope to make new friends in Frankfurt. My birthday will be in late July. so I'm excited about it!

    I just got here on Tuesday from Chicago. I am hoping to have a flat soon, living out of suitcases at a hotel is only fun for so long. I am here for work until probably the end of 2009. I am trying to learn German also any help would be great!

    Hi everyone,

    I've recently moved to Frankfurt from sunny Singapore, and boy has it been grey here. I'm keen to meet more people and make friends since I'm going to be based here for some time. I speak English and am still struggling with German. :) I'd love to meet people and catch up over coffee or lunch or dinner or whatever to just hang out. Look forward to making more friends!

    Hi there,

    I live in Wiesbaden, work in Mainz, but occasionally I visit an advertising agency in Frankfurt. Is that enough reason to read the "Frankfurt Forum"? ;-)

    My German is pretty good.... so if any body needs help.... *laugh*

    I'm thinking of going to Frankfurt to improve my German...I heard the city has a nice international atmosphere...I'm really looking forward to it!
