Visa Procedure/Regulations for working of Women

HI,

I'm an Engineer, my visa is termed as "employment single' and got an offer with monthly salary of 1200 RO. Employer told me they will provide family status.

My queries
1. Can my wife be eligible to work in oman.
2 Can i get family status with the provided salary.
3. Is salary sufficient to live in Oman with family.

Please help me out as I'm listening that oman has very stringent rules towards working women

    + If your wife has the necessary qualifications she CAN get employment in Oman. It can be either with you as the sponsor, or she could also get an independent employment visa.

    + 1200 OR is a very handsome salary. You will be in the upper-middle class here. You can live comfortably with your family in this salary provided you choose the living area carefully.

    + This salary is more than sufficient for getting family visa. The lowest limit right now is around 700 riyals per month. So you qualify for that.
