Questions about starting a business in korea

پست شده در کره جنوبی فروم

I have a lot of questions about starting a business in Seoul, but first a bit of information about why I want to start my business in Seoul.

Firstly I have lived in Korea on the island of Geoje for two years so have a basic understanding of culture and the language, which i'm improving upon.

Secondly I don't have a degree and I know most of the visa's from my research require a degree. I was on a working holiday visa when I lived in Korea, which I was able to extend for another year.

Thirdly I realized that there is the potential of a niche market within the already well established coffee shop culture in Korea, and through the expat communities and my experiences whilst I lived in Korea. The coffee shop culture is related to my business, it's selling drinks but not coffee, I've read there is a 56% success rate for coffee shops in Korea within their first year. I know it will be difficult to succeed but my unique idea hopefully will be successful enough to be a business for a lifetime.

My main question is, is there a way for me to set up a business that I'm not aware of that doesn't require a degree or a Korean business partner for the visa?

My second question is does any one know of a cheap company that can import food/drink goods from the UK that is willing to work with a manufacturer of food/drink products in the UK? I know if you can get a certificate of origin it can mean you can have some tax relief for goods made in the UK.

I'll probably post more questions in the replies if any one replies to this post, if you do reply or even just read this post thank you I appreciate any information you can give me as I've overwhelmed myself looking on the internet.
