Opening a new nursery in dubai

Hi everyone!!! I am interested in opening a new nursery/Daycare in Dubai and have no idea about the procedures or where to start. Any help will be great!!!

    for opening a nursery in dubai you must go through following points

    • Submit online application through Ministry of Social Affairs website.
    Documents Required:
    • Passport copy
    • Family Book copy (Jinsiya)
    • Education Certificate of the owner
    • Police Clearance Certificate
    • One Photo
    • Undertaking letter in Arabic stating that you will appoint a UAE National as Manager
    • Location Map of the proposed building with address
    • Nursery License Application (available at Ministry on CD) singed by the applicant.
    • Acquaintance Document/Introductory Statement (if any)

    It is rather a complicated process to open a nursery here, as you need to meet all regulatory requirements under the ministry of social affairs and understand the legal requirements in support of the licensing for the nursery as this particular license is a sole establishment owned by a Emirati with full power of attorney transferred to the manager and expat owner and find a suitable premises that also meets the commercial stipulation and requirements.

    I would suggest meeting to better understand the processes and limitations as this will also have a cost impact on the business model etc.

    it is a nursery with very big rooms, maximum 16 kids per class, well qualified teachers and they do different activities.thanks!!

    This business license can be obtained from Dubai Economic Department. It is a professional license however, this is currently being given to UAE nationals only.

    I have ways for you to have this if you are interested.

    Dear Wissam,

    This business license can taken from Dubai Economic Department. You must have a strong educational background for you to be able to get government approval. This is a professional license but the catch is that this is only given to UAE nationals.
