FRIENDS OF SPECIAL CHILDREN present the 18th Annual ABC Event, All About Children, "Follow the Yellow Brick Road!"

Friends of Special Children and Signal Centers will partner with our community for the ABC Event to raise funds to install a large open-air PAVILION for the children at Signal Centers' School. The Facility will also have an enclosed area for restrooms, a mini kitchen, and storage. Spending time outdoors is crucial for the healthy development of children, and it has unique health benefits for children with special needs. Time spent in a natural environment teaches children to enjoy and appreciate elements of nature, supports intellectual development, improves mood, reduces stress, restores depleted attention, and boosts immune systems.
