Phoenix Picturehouse Opening Weekend

The Phoenix has been closed for the past two months for refurbishment. Our screens and bar have been revamped to create the best cinematic experience possible. Friday 13th sees us opening once again.

During the weekend of the 13th, Blade Runner 2049 and The Party will be opening for us and having both received raving reviews, what a perfect way to kick off the new Phoenix. Any ticket holder throughout our opening weekend (Friday 13th of October) will receive a complimentary glass of Prosecco or orange juice, depending on which you prefer.

The Phoenix is a historic cinema having been open for over 100 years and the latest refurbishment adds more character to the building. Both of our screens have been transformed, having larger screens and better sound systems. Our bar area now has a cosy snug room which is perfect for relaxing in.

So join us on the 13th and throughout the weekend for a time of celebration and film loving. Here's to the next 100 years!
