Scamps Comedy with Jim Ruberti and Friends: Mike Donovan and Matt McArthur 18 November 2023

Legendary Boston comedian Mike Donovan headlines with feature Matt McArthur and host Jim Ruberti as hysterically funny stand-up comedy returns to Cotuit Center for the Arts on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m.

"Jim Ruberti and Friends: Mike Donovan and Matt McArthur" will be presented in the intimate setting of the gallery, by Cotuit Center for the Arts and Scamps Comedy.

Mike Donovan has long been one of the most creative and funniest headliners in the country, and remains an on-stage powerhouse. The South Boston native works the top clubs in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, and has been featured on The NESN Comedy All-Stars, ESPN's SportsCenter, Fox's Best Damn Sports Show Period, and the Showtime network. He was featured in the documentary When Standup Stood Out. He's also authored a series of American history books, available at Amazon.com and at the show, and is a frequent guest on talk shows on WBZ Radio.

Matt McArthur discovered his love of stand-up comedy as a college student, and since has been performing at clubs and colleges all over New England. In addition to being a comedian, Matt also became a professional bagpiper at a young age, and since has been performing at churches and cemeteries all over New England. Unofficially, he is considered the top bagpiper-comedian in Boston. He's also the only one.
